Progress on the Agordeke School!

May 4, 2017

Our newest school – thanks to YOU!!

Last December Adanu did a fundraiser on Crowdrise to build a school in Agotime Agordeke.  The community members had already molded over 1000 bricks when we visited them in November – before we had even selected the community!  Their enthusiasm and actions prompted us to embrace their goal of having their children go to school in a building instead of under a tree.

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to give the community the funds to start building the school foundation – in fact, the whole school is almost fully funded!

We want to keep you up to date on the progress at Agordeke – and to know your hard earned money is being well spent on critical needs of people in Ghana!

To each and every one of you who made a donation to this worthy cause, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you want to get involved in another worthy project, we have several that need your help.

Luvudo Junior High School Roof – $3,000 (Luvudo itself raised all other funds to build their own JHS!)

Clean Water and Sanitation (WASH) projects – 4 projects, each costing between $3,000 to $5,000

Libraries – Gborkofe and Kpodagzi – each has roughly $5,000 left to fundraise!

Schools (3-classroom) –   Ando Tsiyinu – let’s get it started!!! $26,000

–    Likpe Nkwanta –   we are almost halfway there – $15,000 to go!!

You can donate through our website, Facebook, or our new Adanu App, available in both Android and iOS stores.
